I know I often write in two languages and rarely translate, if ever. I mostly write in English because I want to reach a wider audience, but often I am tempted to write in Russian because there simply are things which I can not phrase in English. I can't expect all my international friends to learn Russian, but at least I'd like to know if I'm wasting the effort of writing it in the first place. I know some of you simply skip most of my posts, and in that case - maybe I just shouldn't bother with making it easier for you and help those who want to read it? Please leave your opinion on what I write. What exactly you read and does the language problem bother you. Thanks.

I read your English posts. I'm definately mono-lingual, and all attempts to learn more than hi, where's the bathroom, and how to count to 10 in any foreign language are pretty much doomed from the start, so the lack of reading Russian isn't like personal or anything.

And, BTW, your English is a lot better than many people who have it as their native, and only language. That may not be saying much, but it should make you feel at least a little bit accomplished.

Pretty much what SA said. I have no hope of reading Russian, but I do read your English posts and appreciate the fact that you take the time to translate them for us. Your English is definitely better than most who learn it as a second language. Hell, it's better than a lot of people who have it as a primary language.

I usually read all your posts, although sometimes when I'm tired/late/whatever I just skim over the long ones.

I am always curious what the russian means. :-b. I could print it out and ask my dad though :D.

I read your English ones. I took a year of Russian but it was so long ago apparently I don't remember any of it, sorry for that. Sometimes I try sounding it out to myself but eh usually I'm on lj really late and thus half asleep. Thanks for translating to English.
